【亞洲最大的生物科技暨製藥技術展覽會】

本展為進入日本市場最重要的一場專業展覽會，提供業界人士交流的機會，第五屆日本國際生物科技大展與第十九屆日本國際醫藥品、化粧品、洗劑/研究開發、製造技術展一同舉行，成為亞洲最具規模及世界第二大的生物科技展及製藥技術展覽會。

主辦單位還舉辦超過11場的BIO產業研討會，吸引了將近2,200位專業人士出席，議題包括日本生化產業的最新現況與發展趨勢；另舉辦超過
10場的Interphex產業研討會，吸引了將近3,
000位專業人士出席，議題包括日本製藥產業的最新現況與發展趨勢。

2006年將擴大舉行，於5月17日至19日在Tokyo Big
Sight展出，預估將有1,600家廠商參展，將吸引47,000個訪客。

2005年展出吸引了43,798專業買主參觀，共1,473位參展廠商，12國家參展代表團:
瑞士、德國、美國、加拿大、韓國、荷蘭、比利時、印度、馬來西亞、蘇格蘭、愛爾蘭以及日本。
